Bayern are said to want a new deal but only on reduced terms, a directive that's led to a stalemate in negotiations. His contract runs until only June 2025, and with his access zone only toward the end of January 1, 2024, clubs outside of Germany will likely start talking to him as early as January 1, 2024. In perfect timing for this change of date, top European clubs now begin to keep a close eye and position themselves to be part of the hopefuls for the Germany international.
For Arsenal, interest in Sané comes at the right moment. While Gunners have recently reinforced their attack with Raheem Sterling's loan move, the possibility of losing Leandro Trossard, who is in a lucrative transfer to Saudi Arabia, could raise a gap that Sané would fit well in. Bayern Munich is under no illusions that they are slowly running out of time to sort new terms with their ace winger or else risk losing him to one of Europe's top clubs.
